However, their peace was shattered by an invasion led by Momotaro. Over thousands of years, these two factions formed the \"Momotaro Agency\" and the \"Oni Agency,\" respectively, and have been locked in conflict ever since.

\nThe protagonist, Shiki Ichinose, suddenly learns of his Oni lineage following an unexpected attack by Momotaro. \nOriginally created by Yura Urushibara, the manga debuted in 2020 in AKITASHOTEN\u2019s Weekly Sh\u014dnen Champion. Drawing on the well-known Japanese folktale of \"Momotaro,\" the series depicts a conflict between those with Oni blood and those with Momotaro blood. With over 3 million copies in print, the franchise launched the \"TOUGEN ANKI Project\" in June 2023. After announcing the anime adaptation in May 2024 as the project\u2019s second phase, excitement continues to build.
